TCF awarded grant to Global Heritage Fund for the restoration of the Kars Ottoman district and Namik Kemal House

The Turkish Cultural Foundation had awarded a grant to the Global Heritage Fund to support the organization′s project in Kars for the restoration of the Kars Ottoman district and, in particular, the Namik Kemal House. The project envisions the cultural revitalization of Kars through conservation and restoration with an aim for socio-economic development of Kars and its region. The Namik Kemal House′s restoration is now complete and plans are underway to utilize thebuilding as a community center.For more on the Kars Ottoman Heritage project.
